Orders and contract

An order becomes binding once it has been paid and you receive an order confirmation by email. As every product is made to order from your image and choices, production begins as soon as your order is confirmed.

Prices and VAT

All prices are in Icelandic króna (ISK) and include 24% value-added tax. Shipping is added in the cart before payment.

Payment

Payment is made by card through the secure Straumur payment gateway. Artiq neither receives nor stores card details.

Custom products and images

Artiq products are made to order from your image and choices. You are responsible for ensuring your uploaded image has sufficient resolution for the chosen size — we flag low-resolution images, but the final choice is yours.

You also warrant that you have the right to use the image you upload and that it does not infringe the copyright, trademarks or other rights of any third party. Artiq is not responsible for content supplied by the customer.

Delivery

Products are shipped with Dropp to a pickup point of your choice. See our shipping information for production and delivery times.

Returns and defects

As products are custom-made, the general 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. If an item arrives faulty or damaged we will put it right — see our returns & refunds policy.

Limitation of liability

Artiq’s liability is limited to the value of the relevant order. Artiq is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the product or the website.

Governing law

These terms and any transactions under them are governed by Icelandic law, and any disputes shall be brought before the Icelandic courts.
